"Branches"
September 7 - 29
On Friday, September 7, 2012 Speakeasy Art held the opening reception for Rob Barth: Branches.Rob Barth is a visual artist and graphic designer living and working in northern New Jersey. He is currently working on a series of paintings, prints, and installations that draw on his background as a designer and graphic communicator.
Branches is a collection of paintings, prints and mixed media works that are connected in various ways. All of the pieces were inspired by the same environments, circumstances, and reference materials. Most were executed during the same general time frame, primarily in the weeks leading up to the show. Many contain shared and/or repeating imagery. The theme Branches refers to these interconnections, and to the fact that these pieces have all emerged from a common source.
